What Happens When I Send Someone a PolicyLink?
When you send a PolicyLink to a client, RiskAdvisor takes care of the backend work for you โ turning that connection into a structured profile without requiring any manual entry.
โ What Happens When a Client Uses the PolicyLink
A Client Profile Is Automatically Created
As soon as the client clicks the PolicyLink and successfully logs into their current carrier portal, RiskAdvisor creates a Client Profile in your account.Policy Documents Are Pulled In
Once the connection is successful, any available policy documents are added to the client profile automatically under the Policy & Dec Pages tab.A Risk Profile May Be Automatically Created
If full policy data is received:Within 5 minutes of the PolicyLink being used, and no draft Risk Profile exists yet, RiskAdvisor will create a Risk Profile automatically.
If full data is received before the agent starts a draft Risk Profile, weโll create the Risk Profile then.
If a draft already exists, the new data will be added to that profile.
If the Risk Profile has already been submitted, a new Risk Profile will be created to preserve the integrity of the original submission.
๐ง Does the Client Need to Submit Anything?
No. The only action required from the client is logging into their carrier account via the PolicyLink. Once authenticated, RiskAdvisor handles the rest โ including profile creation, document import, and risk profile generation (when possible).
